PRODUCT CONTEXT  The film and poster was produced by Hammer Film Productions and Distrubuted by J.Arthur Rank and Universal. Kiss of the vampire was intended to be a second sequel to 1958's film the dracula which was sucessful. However, there was no refrence to the dracula film so they made it into it's own. The 1960's audience for this advert could be familiar with the conventions of 'monster movie' film posters, such as the composition, fonts and how the representation of women are usually shown.  ADVERT ANALYSIS genre The genre of this advert from what we can see, is a horror film. We can see this from the use of vampires, blood and darkness which are typical elements of this genre. composition -   A Z-line composition is used in the poster. All the podcast links could be shown on BBC radio 4's website, and is accessible  to all ages and gender regardless on who is targeted at.  themes and subjects:   the main themes and subjects which are covered in late night womens  hour is topics focusing on women and about women. The different topics specialise in things that mainly women would find interesting . Some of these topics also, could be more focused at an older audience of women and some could be at a younger audience of women, meaning the topics don't just cover one age range. key sequence for black flag the start At the very begginning, you are shown a sudden explosion and already you can see a cut scene which sets the scene for the action which is about to commence. The action which is introduced involves a ship battle, which already from the view of the player, we can see how much it relates to the theme of the game. This whole first piece of the game, is basically just to highlight the narrative and inform the audience of what the game is about and what is happening. This is so the player isn't just put into the game unsure of what to do. Pieces of dialogue is also used during this cut scene to show the perspective of the character they're playing as.
